Netocta lar 20mg injection contains the active substance octreotide. It is a synthetic compound derived from somatostatin, a substance naturally found in the human body that inhibits the effects of certain hormones, such as growth hormones. It is used to reduce the amount of growth hormone produced by people with acromegaly (a condition in which the body produces too much growth hormone, causing enlargement of the hands, feet, and facial features; joint pain; and other symptoms) who cannot be treated with surgery, radiation, or another medication. 

It is also used to control diarrhea and flushing caused by carcinoid tumors (slow-growing tumors that release natural substances that can cause symptoms) and vasoactive intestinal peptide-secreting adenomas (VIP-omas; tumors that form in the pancreas and release natural substances that can cause symptoms). It is used to prevent complications following surgery of the pancreas gland.  It is also indicated to stop bleeding and to protect from re-bleeding from ruptured gastro-esophageal varices in patients suffering from chronic liver disease. This medicine is used to treat people with pituitary tumors that produce too much thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) when other types of treatment (surgery or radiotherapy) are not suitable or have not worked and after radiotherapy, to cover the interim period until the radiotherapy becomes fully effective.

Dasatinib 50 mg

Tamoxifen blocks the actions of estrogen, a female hormone. Certain types of breast cancer require estrogen to grow.

Tamoxifen is used to treat some types of breast cancer in men and women.

Tamoxifen is also used to lower a woman's chance of developing breast cancer if she has a high risk (such as a family history of breast cancer).

Taking tamoxifen may increase your risk of uterine cancer, liver cancer, stroke, or a blood clot in the lung, which can be fatal.

Do not use tamoxifen if you are pregnant. It could harm the unborn baby. Use a barrier form of birth control (such as a condom or diaphragm with spermicide) while you are using this medication and for at least 2 months after your treatment ends. You should not use tamoxifen if you are allergic to it, if you have a history of blood clots in your veins or your lungs, or if you are taking a blood thinner such as warfarin (Coumadin).

Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver disease, high triglycerides (a type of fat in the blood), a history of cataract, or a history of stroke or blood clot. Also tell your doctor if you if you are receiving chemotherapy or radiation treatment.

If you are taking tamoxifen to reduce your risk of breast cancer, you may need to take your first dose while you are having a menstrual period. You may also need to have a pregnancy test before you start taking this medicine, to make sure you are not pregnant. Follow your doctor's instructions.

To make sure this medication is not causing harmful effects, your doctor may want you to have mammograms and to perform routine breast self-exams on a regular basis. Your liver function may also need to be tested. Visit your doctor regularly.

You should not use tamoxifen if you are allergic to it.

Tamoxifen may harm an unborn baby. You may need a pregnancy test to make sure you are not pregnant. Use birth control while using tamoxifen and for at least 2 months after your last dose. Tell your doctor if you become pregnant.

To prevent pregnancy while using tamoxifen, use a barrier form of birth control: condom, diaphragm, cervical cap, or contraceptive sponge. Avoid using hormonal birth control, including birth control pills, injections, implants, skin patches, and vaginal rings.

You should not use tamoxifen to reduce your risk of breast cancer if you also take warfarin (Coumadin, Jantoven).

Femara 2.5mg Tablet is a medication used to treat advanced breast cancer in post-menopausal women. It contains Letrozole as its active ingredient and can also be used in anovulatory infertility for ovulation induction. It is essential to take this medicine as prescribed by the doctor. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and frequency for you. You can swallow it with or without water. Never exceed the recommended dose or miss any dose. Before using this medicine, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a detailed medical history that needs consideration.

Bdpoma 4mg Capsule is a chemotherapy medicine containing the active constituent Pomalidomide. It belongs to the group of medications known as Immunomodulatory agents. It is used to treat multiple myeloma in adults. Multiple myeloma is a type of cancer mainly affecting certain white blood cells called the plasma cell. These cells grow uncontrolled and accumulate in the bone marrow, damaging the bones and kidneys.  

The common side effects that are likely to associate with Bdpoma 4mg Capsule are shortness of breath, tiredness, weakness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, back and bone pain, dizziness, tremor, upper respiratory tract infection, sleeping trouble, loss of appetite, lack of energy, muscle spasms, muscle weakness, numbness, tingling or burning sensation, the low potassium level in the blood and anemia. Inform your doctor if these side effects disturb or persist in you.  

Inform your medical professional if you are allergic to Bdpoma 4mg Capsule and its ingredients. Inform your doctor if you have high cholesterol levels, heart disorders, breathing problems, blood clot disorders, hepatitis B infection, neuropathy (Pain in hands or feet caused by nerve damage), or if you smoke before taking this chemotherapy medicine. It is not recommended for adolescents and children under 18 years of age.

Therapeutic Effects of Bdpoma 4mg Capsule

Bdpoma 4mg Capsule works by stimulating the immune system to attack the cancer cells, stopping the formation of blood vessels supplying the cancer cells, and preventing the growth of cancer cells (myeloma cells).

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medications, nutritional or vitamin supplements and herbal products that you are taking or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with Bdpoma 4mg Capsule and can cause potential side effects.

• Keep Bdpoma 4mg Capsule out of sight and reach of children.
• Store at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C.

Always take Bdpoma 4mg Capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Take this medicine with or without food. Swallow the Capsule as a whole with water. Do not crush or chew the Capsule.

Pomalid 4mg Capsule is used in the treatment of multiple myeloma and is used in combination with some other medicine (dexamethasone). It works by helping the bone marrow to produce normal blood cells and by killing abnormal cells.

Nelova 150 mg Capsule 28's belongs to the class of anticancer drugs called tyrosine kinase inhibitors used in the treatment of Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph+ CML). Ph+ CML is a type of blood cancer that causes white blood cells to behave differently.

Nelova 150 mg Capsule 28's contains Nilotinib which works by blocking the action of an abnormal protein (Bcr-Abl tyrosine kinase) produced by an abnormal Philadelphia chromosome that signals abnormal white blood cells (cancerous cells) to multiply. Thereby, it stops the multiplication and inhibits the growth of cancerous cells and then causes the death of these cells.

Take Nelova 150 mg Capsule 28's as prescribed. You are recommended to take Nelova 150 mg Capsule 28's for as long as your doctor has advised it for you based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Nelova 150 mg Capsule 28's may cause common side effects such as vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea, headache, constipation, tiredness, and muscle and joint pain. Most of these side effects of Nelova 150 mg Capsule 28's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Nilotinib or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Avoid taking Nelova 150 mg Capsule 28's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You are recommended to use effective contraceptive methods while taking Nelova 150 mg Capsule 28's and for two weeks after completing the course of Nelova 150 mg Capsule 28's. Nelova 150 mg Capsule 28's is not recommended for children below one year of age. Drive only if you are alert as Nelova 150 mg Capsule 28's may cause dizziness or visual disorders as side effects in some people. If you have yellow skin and eyes, dark-coloured urine, or stomach pain while taking Nelova 150 mg Capsule 28's, contact your doctor immediately, as these might be symptoms of liver problems. 

Tasigna 200mg Capsule should be taken on an empty stomach, but try to have it at the same time every day to get the most benefits. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.

Headache, nausea, abdominal pain, and rash are very common side effects of this medicine. If you experience severe diarrhea, consult with your doctor or drink plenty of fluids while on treatment. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.

Sorafenib is used to treat kidney, liver, and thyroid cancer. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells.

Read the Patient Information Leaflet if available from your pharmacist before you start taking sorafenib and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Take this medication by mouth on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal) as directed by your doctor, usually twice a day.

The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. Do not increase your dose or use this drug more often or for longer than prescribed. Your condition will not improve any faster, and your risk of serious side effects will increase.

Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same times each day.

Since this drug can be absorbed through the skin and lungs and may harm an unborn baby, women who are pregnant or who may become pregnant should not handle this medication or breathe the dust from the tablets.

Thus, 6-MP Tablet 10''s stops multiplication of abnormal cells and leads to the growth of cells in an unbalanced way and causes the death of cells.

Take 6-MP Tablet 10''s as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take 6-MP Tablet 10''s for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, low red blood cell count, loss of appetite, diarrhoea or inflammation of the mouth. Most of these side effects of 6-MP Tablet 10''s do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to 6-MP Tablet 10''s or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Avoid taking 6-MP Tablet 10''s if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and consult a doctor. You are recommended to use effective contraceptive methods while using 6-MP Tablet 10''s and for 3 months after completing the course of 6-MP Tablet 10''s to prevent pregnancy. 6-MP Tablet 10''s should be used with caution in children, especially in children below 6 years or with low body mass index as it may cause low blood sugar. Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight as 6-MP Tablet 10''s may cause sensitivity to sunlight. You are advised to use a sunscreen with a high protection factor and wear protective clothing while going out. 6-MP Tablet 10''s may increase the risk of a serious condition called macrophage activation syndrome (over activation of white blood cells associated with inflammation), especially in people with arthritis.

Blood cancer (Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia) 

6-MP Tablet 10''s contains Mercaptopurine, an anticancer drug used to treat blood cancer. 6-MP Tablet 10''s interferes with the production of genetic material (DNA and RNA) in the cancer cells essential for growth, repair and multiplication of cells. Thus, 6-MP Tablet 10''s stops multiplication of abnormal cells and leads to cell''s growth in an unbalanced way and causes the death of cells. 

Nuparp 200mg tablet contains the active ingredient rucaparib. It is an anti-cancer medicine that belongs to the class of medications called PARP (poly ADP-ribose polymerase) inhibitors. It is used to help maintain the response to other treatments for certain types of ovarian cancer, fallopian tube (a tube that transports eggs released by the ovaries to the uterus), and primary peritoneal (layer of tissue that lines the abdomen) cancer that has reoccurred in adults who have previously completely responded or partially responded to other chemotherapy treatments. 

It is also used to treat certain types of cancer in people with specific gene (BRCA) changes who have received treatment with at least two other chemotherapy treatments. It is also indicated as maintenance therapy immediately after chemotherapy which has caused the tumor to shrink. Do not take Nuparp 200mg tablet if you are allergic to Nuparp or any of the ingredients. This medication can cause low blood counts; hence your healthcare professional will advise you to take certain blood tests before and every month during the treatment.  

Inform your doctor if you have nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal pain during the treatment because this medicine may affect your stomach or bowels. Nuparp 200mg tablet should not be given to children under 18 years of age. Notify your physician if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, suspecting, or planning for pregnancy during the treatment with this medicine. Women with reproductive potential should use effective contraception during the treatment.
