Palborest 100 Tablet belongs to the group of anti-cancer drugs used to treat certain types of breast cancer. Cancer is the uninhibited and uncontrolled growth of cells in the body. Breast cancer is cancer that forms in the cells of the breast. It can form in the lobules, ducts or tubules of the breast or in the breast tissue itself.

Palborest 100 Tablet contains Palbociclib that works by blocking proteins necessary for cell growth, thereby causing cell death and arresting the uncontrolled production of new cells. Thus, Palborest 100 Tablet is effective in controlling cancer cells from multiplying and is used in the treatment of breast cancer. 

Take Palborest 100 Tablet as prescribed. In some cases, Palborest 100 Tablet may cause certain common side effects such as weakness, loss of appetite, infections and dry skin. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. 

Palnat 75mg Capsule is a targeted therapy containing the active constituent palbociclib. It belongs to the group of anticancer medications known as cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors. It is used in treating hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor 2 negative advanced or metastatic (has spread to other parts of the body) breast cancer. Cancer is a condition in which cells multiply in an uncontrolled and abnormal manner. It is given in combination with certain other anticancer medications.  

The common side effects that are likely to associate with Palnat 75mg Capsule are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, tiredness, hair loss, dry skin, rash, infections, nose bleed, decreased appetite, low blood cell counts, swelling of lips and mouth, changes in taste, dry eye, blurred vision, and increased tearing. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects disturb or persists in you.   

Inform your healthcare provider if you are allergic to Palnat 75mg Capsule and its ingredients. Before taking this medicine, it is vital to inform your doctor if you have any signs of infections (fever, chills, or sore throat), liver disorders, kidney disorders, or intolerance to some sugars. Consult your physician immediately if you experience symptoms such as dry cough, chest pain, difficulty breathing, as it could indicate lung inflammation. Make sure you inform your physician of all the medicines, including supplements and herbal medicines, you are taking before you start treatment with this medication. Use effective birth control during the treatment and at least three weeks after the last dose. It is not recommended for adolescents and children under 18 years of age.

Take this medication by mouth as directed by your doctor, usually once daily for 21 days, then stopping the medication for 7 days. This is one cycle of treatment. Continue taking the medication this way as directed by your doctor.

Palbo 125mg Capsule should be taken with food, but try to have it at the same time every day to get the most benefits.  Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.

Palbociclib can make you more likely to get infections or may worsen any current infections. Avoid contact with people who have infections that may spread to others (such as chickenpox, measles, flu). Consult your doctor if you have been exposed to an infection or for more details.

Tell your health care professional that you are using palbociclib before having any immunizations/vaccinations. Avoid contact with people who have recently received live vaccines (such as flu vaccine inhaled through the nose).

To lower the chance of getting cut, bruised, or injured, use caution with sharp objects like razors and nail cutters, and avoid activities such as contact sports.

Before having surgery, tell your doctor or dentist about all the products you use (including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products).

This medication can affect fertility in males. Ask your doctor for more details.

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. You should not become pregnant while you are using palbociclib. Palbociclib may harm an unborn baby. Men with female partners of childbearing age should use reliable forms of birth control while using this medication and for 3 months after the last dose. Women of childbearing age should have a pregnancy test before starting this medication and should ask about reliable forms of birth control while using this medication and for at least 3 weeks after the last dose. If you become pregnant, talk to your doctor right away about the risks and benefits of this medication.
