Dasatrue 70mg Tablet is used in the treatment of blood cancer (chronic myeloid leukaemia). It is used in patients whose disease could not be treated with other medications for leukaemia or who cannot take these medications because of side effects.

Dasatrue 70mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but try to have it at the same time every day to get the most benefits. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.

Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and rash are some common side effects of this medicine. It causes excessive production of immature white blood cells by the bone marrow and reduces the body’s ability to fight infections. There are different types of blood cancers. Dasarel 100 mg Tablet 30's is used in the treatment of chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) in patients with chronic, accelerated, or blast phase Ph+ (Philadelphia chromosome-positive) who are resistant or intolerant to prior therapy, in patients with newly diagnosed chronic Ph+ chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). This medicine is also used in the treatment of Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

Dasarel 100 mg Tablet 30's contains Dasatinib, which belongs to the class of kinase inhibitors. It works by inhibiting the action of abnormal proteins that cause the multiplication of cancerous cells. This helps stop the abnormal growth of cancer cells and thus reduce the further spread to other parts of the body.

Dasarel 100 mg Tablet 30's may cause certain side effects, such as skin rash, fatigue, headache, musculoskeletal pain, decreased platelet count, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, dizziness, GI bleeding, muscle inflammation, myalgia, and difficulty breathing. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. Dasarel 100 mg Tablet 30's should be taken as advised by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose of medicine. Dasarel 100 mg Tablet 30's should be avoided if you are allergic to it or any other components present in it. Before taking Dasarel 100 mg Tablet 30's, caution should be exercised if you have/had liver/kidney disease, gastrointestinal disorders, cardiac problems, and myelosuppression as may cause serious side effects or worsen such conditions. This medicine is known to cause embryo-fetal toxicity. Hence, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant before starting the treatment with Dasarel 100 mg Tablet 30's. Breastfeeding should be discontinued in nursing mothers during the treatment.
